What You’ll Do


  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of supportive devices

  • Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan under supervision of the Occupational Therapist

  • Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments needed to the supervising therapist

  • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members

  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress, and outcomes in electronic health records

  • Participate in team meetings, patient care conferences, and required trainings

  • Support the supervision of students and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

  • Adhere to NBCOT / AOTA and state practice acts, ethics, and conduct



What You Need


  • Active State Occupational Therapist Assistant License/Registration

  • Prior experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow clinical protocols and documentation standards
