Hospitalist Physician – 7 On / 7 Off | No ICU Responsibilities

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician for an inpatient assignment in Vermont. This opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, no call, and no ICU responsibilities. Providers must be comfortable working both rounding and admitting shifts.

Assignment Details

• 7 on / 7 off schedule


• 10-hour shifts


• Rounding shift: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM


• Admitting shift: 11:00 AM-9:00 PM


• No call


• Closed, physician-run ICU


• No ICU coverage required


• No bedside procedures required


• Cerner EMR


• Collaborative multidisciplinary environment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Hospital Medicine coverage


• Manage rounding and admitting responsibilities


• Coordinate care with case managers, pharmacists, social workers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team


• Provide care for general hospitalist patients outside the ICU

Requirements

• Board Certified


• Active Vermont license or IMLC


• Must be internally credentialed with Floyd Lee Locums


• Must be comfortable working both admitting and rounding shifts
