Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Texas. This assignment offers 12-hour shifts across hospital and freestanding emergency department settings with strong APP and specialty support.

Assignment Details

• 12-hour physician shifts


• Hospital and freestanding ED coverage


• All-ages patient population


• Level III trauma setting at the primary location


• APP support


• Cerner EMR


• Broad specialty support, including cardiology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, and trauma services

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, stabilize, and treat emergency department patients


• Manage adult and pediatric emergencies


• Provide trauma evaluation and acute care


• Manage cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, infectious, and general medical emergencies


• Coordinate specialty consultations and transfers when appropriate


• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary support teams

Requirements

• Current Texas medical license


• DEA


• Board Certification


• ABEM preferred; ABIM/ABFM may be accepted depending on coverage site


• ATLS


• ACLS


• PALS
