Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Neurology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Richmond, IN • Service Setting: Inpatient Hospital • Coverage Type: Inpatient + Call • Coverage Period: 12/14/2026 – 12/21/2026 • Shift/Call Schedule: Mon-Mon; 7a-7a • Call Type: Beeper COVERAGE DATES • December 14–21, 2026 – Exact dates required • Onsite Orientation: December 11, 2026 (date may be discussed) • Future Coverage: March 8–15 • Future Coverage: May 31–June 7 • Additional July–December dates TBD • Providers able to cover future dates are preferred PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Volume/Census: Not Specified • Admissions: Inpatient Coverage • Rounding: Included • Case Mix: Inpatient Neurology FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 220 Hospital Beds • Trauma Level: Level III • EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 Days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Thrombolytic Therapy for Stroke • Electroencephalogram (EEG) • Electromyogram (EMG) • Spinal / Paraspinal / Epidural Blocks • Brain Death Exams • Lumbar Puncture • Subdural Taps JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Indiana Medical License • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology - Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency • Certifications: Flu and COVID vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption • Experience: More than 2 years • Other Qualifications: IMLC candidates not accepted; must be available for the exact December 14–21 coverage dates DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide inpatient Neurology coverage. • Evaluate and manage acute and complex neurologic conditions. • Provide stroke care, including thrombolytic therapy when clinically indicated. • Perform required Neurology procedures and diagnostic testing. • Provide call coverage and respond to callbacks as required. • Complete provider order entry and document patient care in Epic. • Enter worked hours through the Vemsta digital timesheet platform. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
