Description Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalists for hospital-employed Daytime and Nocturnist opportunities in Alabama. There is currently one daytime position and multiple Nocturnist openings, all available for immediate placement. These positions offer competitive compensation, generous bonuses, flexible scheduling options, and a supportive hospital environment with an open ICU model and Intensivist support. The hospitalist team manages rapid responses and codes, while procedures are not required. Position Highlights Location: Alabama Employment: Hospital-employed Specialty: Hospital Medicine Training: Internal Medicine required Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Openings: 1 Day Hospitalist position and multiple Nocturnist positions Start: ASAP New Graduates: Candidates graduating in Summer 2027 are not currently being considered. Visa: H-1B transfers may be considered; J-1 candidates are not currently accepted. EMR: Epic Day Hospitalist Schedule 7 days on / 7 days off 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Approximately 182 shifts per year Opportunity to work additional shifts for extra compensation. Nocturnist Schedule Minimum of 12 shifts per month 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Flexible scheduling Opportunity to work additional shifts for extra compensation. Clinical Practice Open ICU model with dedicated Intensivist support. No procedures required. Hospitalists participate in rapid response and code teams. Collaborative practice environment with strong clinical support. Opportunity to work additional shifts on both day and night schedules. Comprehensive electronic medical records through Epic. Compensation & Benefits Day Hospitalist: $148.50 per hour. Nocturnist: $172.06 per hour, including night differential. Quality bonus potential: Up to $40,000 in addition to base compensation. $100,000 signing bonus. Student loan repayment opportunities through a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)-eligible employer. Paid professional malpractice insurance, including tail coverage. CME allowance and professional dues allowance. Onsite fitness facility. Paid interview expenses. Additional compensation opportunities for extra shifts. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license. Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
