Medical Oncologist – Facility Willing to License | No Call

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Medical Oncologist for an outpatient oncology and hematology assignment in Minnesota. The facility is willing to license, making this an excellent option for qualified physicians who do not currently hold an active Minnesota license.

Assignment Details

• Initial 13-week assignment with extension potential


• Six-month commitment preferred


• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM


• No weekends


• No call


• Outpatient oncology and infusion center setting


• Approximately 13-20 patients per day


• Two positions available


• Availability during December highly preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology care


• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits


• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans


• Oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive oncology therapies


• Manage patients with solid tumor malignancies and active hematologic disorders


• Provide long-term disease management, surveillance, and follow-up care


• Review laboratory and imaging results


• Coordinate treatment with the infusion team and multidisciplinary specialists


• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, primary care physicians, and other specialty providers

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology


• Active Minnesota medical license or qualified for licensing


• IMLC-eligible physicians considered


• Facility is willing to assist with licensing


• Comfortable managing both oncology and hematology patients
