Cardiac Surgery Physician – 24-Hour Call Coverage

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Surgery Physician for call coverage in Indiana. This opportunity is open to full-time or part-time providers and features strong PA support with a primary surgical focus on CABG.

Assignment Details

• 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM


• Full-time or part-time availability considered


• Inpatient rounding based on caseload and consult volume


• Epic EMR


• Temporary privileges available for clean files

Clinical Responsibilities

• Primarily perform CABG procedures


• Provide cardiac surgery call coverage


• Round on patients based on caseload and consult needs


• Work alongside three PAs supporting inpatient rounding, surgical cases, and first assist


• Root and arch procedures are not part of the assignment

Requirements

• Board Certified


• MD or DO


• ACLS


• Minimum 5 years of experience


• At least 50 cardiac surgical procedures completed within the past 12 months for credentialing
