A healthcare facility in northern Michigan is seeking a Urology Physician for long-term locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers a consistent 2-week on/2-week off rotation, a mix of clinic and OR responsibilities, and no call coverage. (Job ID: 51000)

Details

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient


• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM


• Rotation: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off


• Typical week: 4 clinic days and 1 OR day


• No call coverage


• Contract Length: Minimum 1 year; ongoing coverage preferred


• General and adult Urology


• Da Vinci Xi robotic platform available


• Dedicated clinic space


• APP supervision required


• Temporary privileges available


• EMR: Athena and Meditech

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABU or AOBS – Urological Surgery


• Fellowship preferred


• Active Michigan license or IMLC eligibility


• Michigan CDS and DEA required


• ACLS required


• Recent Urological procedural experience required


• Must be comfortable with general and adult Urology, laparoscopic surgery, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsy, and TRUS biopsies


• Hospital and surgery center privileges required
