Emergency Medicine Physician – Day Shifts | Southwest Louisiana


Overview


A hospital in southwest Louisiana is seeking a board-certified physician for locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage. This opportunity offers 12-hour day shifts with NP/PA support and is open to Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physicians who meet the required qualifications. Details



  • Schedule: 6am-6pm shifts

  • Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Medicine

  • NP/PA Fast Track support

  • Additional Fast Track coverage from 10am-10pm

  • Scope includes emergency evaluation, treatment, and management


Requirements



  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

  • Active LA medical license required

  • LA DEA and Controlled Substance registration required

  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
