Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Arkansas. This position offers approximately 10 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts, and 24-hour APP support. Arkansas licensing assistance is available.

Assignment Details

• ASAP start upon credentialing


• Approximately 10 shifts per month


• 12-hour shifts


• Hospital-based Emergency Department


• Approximately 40,000 annual ED visits


• 24-hour NP/PA support


• Allscripts EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat acute and emergent conditions


• Manage medical, trauma, and pediatric emergencies


• Perform common Emergency Medicine procedures


• Collaborate with APPs and other clinical support staff


• Manage patient flow in a busy Emergency Department setting

Requirements

• MD or DO


• Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery residency training


• Arkansas medical license or ability to obtain


• DEA with Arkansas address


• ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS


• Prior Emergency Medicine experience


• ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM Board Certification/Eligibility preferred


• Non-board-certified physicians may be considered with at least 2,500 ED hours within the past 5 years
