What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized care to high-acuity ICU patients, including post-op cardiac and transplant recovery
- Monitor and manage patients with PA catheters and balloon pumps
- Assist with emergency ICU procedures and respond to rapid patient deterioration
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow protocols for patients on continuous renal replacement therapy
- Document patient care activities accurately in Epic system
- Adapt to float requirements across ICUs and step down units as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
- ICU experience, preferably with CVICU, SICU, and transplant patients
- Epic EMR experience considered a plus
- Ability to work night shift consistently
Preferred:
- Experience with PA catheters & balloon pumps
- Flexibility for float assignments across units
