CVOR Registered Nurse - Day Shift in Metairie, LA

- Experience: 2+ years CVOR and general OR experience required; Epic experience mandatory

What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the CVOR setting
- Assist with cardiovascular surgeries and procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs
- Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient data accurately in Epic electronic health records
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist with patient prep and recovery
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years CVOR and general OR experience
- Epic electronic health record experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (CPI obtainable at the facility for $100)
- Ability to work the specified shift
Preferred:
- Experience working in high-volume surgical settings
- Experience with intraoperative monitoring and cardiovascular procedures
