  • Coverage needs: 
        
    • ASAP - Ongoing  
    • Full time availability needed (40 hours per week)
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • Schedule: either 5x8s or 4x10s.  
          
      • Will consider 5x10s if provider is interested  
          
    • Room time is 0715  
          
      • Anesthesia personnel typically arrive between 0630 and 0645  
          
    • Schedule can vary in days/times depending on needs of the department and provider availability/preference
      
  • Call: 
        
    • One weekend per month  
    • Weekday call: 1-2 days/week
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • Operating Room & Call  
    • Will need to be able to work indepedently at times  
    • 15% inpatient, 85% outpatient 
      
  • Support Staff: 
        
    • Full support staff  
    • Generally 3-4 providers per day   
    • Would only work solo when on call and still that would be rare
      
  • Required Procedures: 
        
    • Mostly outpatient procedures; surgical or endoscopic  
    • Some OB including labor epidurals and c/s  
    • Bread and Butter including ortho, endo, gen surg, urology, & ENT
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • EPIC
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • 30-60 days for full privileges  
    • Temps available
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active MI license or nursing compact   
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBCRNA  
    • 1+ years of experience
