About the Assignment This position supports a hospital-based OB-GYN department primarily focused on labor and delivery with approximately 120 births annually. The role involves providing excellent patient care in a rural hospital setting, handling routine deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum follow-up, with no high-risk obstetrics or resident involvement. The schedule includes alternating weekdays and weekends, with shifts spanning 0700 to 0700, on a month-to-month basis, starting December 2026 through March 2027. Credentialing takes approximately 60 days, with billable travel expenses including airfare, lodging, and rental or mileage for personal vehicles.
