What You’ll Do
- Provide expert Gastroenterology care, including endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, stent placements)
- Perform advanced procedures such as Argon plasma coagulation, biopsies, and hemostasis
- Manage patient cases involving non-compliant and complex conditions
- Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, to deliver high-quality care
- Respond to emergency consults within 30 minutes off-site, and routine calls within 12 hours
- Document procedures and patient interactions using Meditech EMR
- Participate in scheduled clinics and contribute to patient education and follow-up
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Kentucky Medical License
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Gastroenterology
- Proficiency in endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience with advanced GI procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience managing complex patient populations
