What You’ll Do:
- Provide patient-centered nursing care to a diverse population on a 60-bed Medical-Surgical unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor patient statuses, and document changes accurately.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure high-quality care delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in team huddles, share clinical expertise, and serve as a resource for colleagues.
- Follow facility policies, guidelines, and unit-specific protocols to support positive patient outcomes.
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Michigan or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work night shift
Preferred:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience working in a hospital setting with diverse medical conditions
