A healthcare organization in the Charlotte metro area is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN Laborist for locum tenens coverage. This opportunity consists of 24-hour in-house call covering both obstetric and gynecologic cases, with MFM support and no APP supervision responsibilities. (Job ID: 51784)

Details

• Schedule: 24-hour in-house call


• Setting: Hospital-based OB/GYN


• Scope: OB and GYN coverage, including admissions and consults


• Obstetrics: Low- and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, breech and multiple births, and abruptions


• Procedures: Amniocentesis, fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasound, and repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations


• Gynecology: Open and laparoscopic surgery, including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions


• Support: MFM physician and dedicated nursing staff


• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN


• Active South Carolina medical license at submission


• DEA


• BLS


• Comfortable managing low- and high-risk obstetric cases


• Proficient in required obstetric and gynecologic procedures
