What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients with various hematology and oncology diagnoses, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemias, sickle cell disease, and other cancers
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and manage oncologic emergencies
- Monitor patients using telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
- Start IVs, manage PICC lines, perform blood draws, and provide IV therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care, infection prevention, and fall prevention
- Document patient progress and treatment in EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other Med/Surg and Oncology units as needed
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid Ohio RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Med/Surg nursing experience
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and phlebotomy
- Preferred:
- Hematology/Oncology experience
- ONS certification
