What You’ll Do
- Perform adult cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
- Conduct general thoracic surgeries, including VATS decortication and lung biopsies
- Manage ICU care for high-risk patients, including Impella procedures and medical stabilization
- Support structural heart procedures in hybrid and cath lab environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document procedures efficiently using EPIC EMR system
- Participate in a team-focused environment, supporting the hospital’s cardiac care units
What You Need
Required
- Active medical license in Kentucky or ability to obtain
- Significant experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
- Skills in ICU management of critically ill patients
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and thoracic interventions
Preferred
- Board certification in surgery or cardiothoracic surgery
- Experience with hybrid OR procedures and advanced hemodynamic support
