Description Join a newly opened hospital and help shape the future of pulmonary and critical care services along North Carolina's coast. This is an immediate need for an employed Pulmonary & Critical Care position. Offering a daytime-only schedule with no nights or call, allowing physicians to focus on high-quality inpatient care while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance near beaches, waterfront attractions, and vibrant coastal lifestyle.Pulmonary Intensivist role with a physician-led, not-for-profit health system. Days only schedule with no nights and no call responsibilities. 7-on/7-off. New hospital opening in 2026 with an 8-bed ICU and 60+ inpatient beds. ICU coverage supported by 24/7 tele-ICU services. Inpatient pulmonary consults plus access to an on-site bronchoscopy suite. Employed position with comprehensive benefits, malpractice coverage, CME, and relocation assistance. EPIC EMR system-wide across the health network. Located in the Wilmington coastal region with easy access to beaches, boating, fishing, and waterfront dining.
