Description Details: • Location: Alaska (3 hours from Anchorage) • Duration: As soon as credentialed – ongoing locums • Schedule: Flexible – 2-4 weeks/month • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p • Call: rotating pager call from hotel 1:5 • Scope: Outpatient Internal Medicine for complex patient population • Duties: must be comfortable with high-acuity, complex chronic conditions in outpatient setting • Cases: Hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, COPD, IBD, Arthritis, care for coronary artery disease and heart failure, cancer patients & survivors, Emphysema, Thyroid conditions, Dementia, and Infections • Call coverage is outpatient-focused - fielding calls from the ED and answering service for known clinic patients, no inpatient responsibilities • Volume: average 15 patients per day • EMR: EPIC • Hospital: Level 4 trauma, 63 beds • Group: 6 physicians, 2 NP’s • Credentialing: 45-60 days • Require: BC ABIM, AK License (open to license can obtain in 4-6 weeks) Benefits: • 1099 Independent Contract • A+ Malpractice Coverage • Full T&L provided • Competitive Pay Rates! * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
