MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Palliative & Med Surg - Columbus, OH

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience; EPIC experience required

  • Floating Requirements: Within units of comparable or lower acuity



Pay & Benefits:


  • Pay rate: $59.18/hour

  • Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

What You’ll Do:


  • Provide symptom management for patients with serious illnesses, including pain, nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient quality of life

  • Float within various high-acuity medical units, including palliative and medical-surgical units

  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

  • Advocate for patient comfort and coordinate care plans with healthcare providers

  • Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment



What You Need:

Required:


  • Active valid RN license in Ohio

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience

  • BLS certification

  • EPIC electronic medical record experience



Preferred:


  • Previous travel nursing experience

  • Certification or training in palliative care



About the Assignment:

This role is based within a busy, cutting-edge medical center in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to offering exceptional patient care for complex cases. You'll provide vital symptom relief and support to patients in palliative and medical-surgical units, working within a team committed to excellence and compassionate care. The shift is nights, with schedule flexibility every four weeks, depending on department needs.
