Inpatient Psychiatrist



Join our dedicated team as an Inpatient Psychiatrist and make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults with complex mental health needs. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a residential setting, ensuring patients receive the support and treatment they need to progress toward recovery. You will work in a collaborative environment, responding to emergencies, conducting assessments, and delivering face-to-face evaluations, all while contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered approach.



Required Skills:



  • Active Texas Medical License with no sanctions

  • Current DEA certification

  • Proven experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment

  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to adhering to facility policies and regulations




Nice to Have Skills:



  • Experience working with dually diagnosed adult patients

  • Prior experience in residential mental health settings

  • Additional certifications in crisis intervention or related fields




Preferred Education and Experience:



  • Medical degree from an accredited institution

  • Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred

  • Licensure and credentialing with hospital systems utilized by the facility




Other Requirements:



  • Must be certified in CPR through an American Heart Association-approved course and maintain certification

  • Availability to start immediately, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, some remote work may be approved from time to time by leadership.  

  • No travel required




This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $200.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, along with comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program. The initial term is six months with the possibility of extension, providing stability and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.
