Description OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in New Mexico | Clinic + Call Coverage | Beginning December 1 - Ongoing | Assignment #116669 Coverage Details -- Need coverage for 7-10 days per month -- Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM -- Coverage includes clinic, call, and elective OR Call Details -- Primary call coverage during evenings and weekends -- Call type: Beeper -- Response time: 20 minutes Requirements -- Board Eligible or Board Certified -- ACLS -- BLS -- New Mexico license preferred Required Procedures / Skills -- Low and high-risk pregnancy management -- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) -- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation -- Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries -- Low forceps deliveries -- C-sections and VBACs -- Breech deliveries and multiple births -- Management of abruptions -- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations -- Open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery -- Ectopic pregnancy procedures, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive LOA procedures Assignment Details -- FM residency program with five FM-OB trained attending physicians participates in call coverage -- FM-OB physicians provide daytime coverage Monday-Friday, with OBGYN serving as backup call -- Will be supervising Advanced Practice Providers -- 20-25 patients per clinic shift -- PA/NP support: 2 providers -- Average deliveries per year: 720 -- PEDs Level: 2 -- Trauma Level: 4 -- Three APPs support the clinic -- CNM support available throughout the week -- Credentia * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
