What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized ICU nursing care to critically ill patients
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Adhere to facility protocols and safety procedures
- Document patient data accurately using Epic software
- Adapt care to meet diverse patient needs and promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare staff in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, proficient in Epic documentation
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Certification in a specialty ICU area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgment and ability to work under pressure
