What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a PCU setting
- Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans
- Perform common procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Float within Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as required
- Document patient progress accurately and promptly
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend shifts
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience in a progressive care or step-down unit
Preferred:
- Prior experience with adult/geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
