What You’ll Do
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and dysphagia disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Provide bedside swallow studies, diet recommendations, and monitoring, including outpatient VFSS.
- Document patient progress and communicate findings to physicians.
- Design and revise individualized care goals based on patient needs.
- Participate in patient care conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing education.
- Work independently with adult patients, supporting complex cases and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation following regulatory standards.
What You Need
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license.
- BLS certification.
- 3+ years of outpatient speech therapy experience, or completion of a related residency.
- Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced outpatient caseload.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.
