Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 39-day assignment starting Jan 1, 2027. This role involves covering 13 shifts per month in the ICU and IMCU, with a mix of day and night shifts, focusing on patient care and managing consults in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover 13 am/pm shifts per month in the ICU
• Manage patient care within ICU and IMCU units
• Handle 0-5 consults per day, typically 1-2
• Work shifts from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am

Additional Information

• EMR System: Epic
• Daily patient volume averages 8-10 in the unit
• Staffing includes 1-2 residents rounding daily, excluding Sundays
• No call requirement, but night and weekend coverage is needed, involving a mix of day and night shifts
