• Certifications: Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and first assist for cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG and robotic cases.
  
• Manage inpatient caseload of 5-8 CABGs and 4-6 robotic thoracic/chest cases per week.
  
• Assist with open and TAVR valve procedures as part of a comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical service.
  
• Collaborate with the advanced heart failure team to support occasional LVAD and Impella placements.
  
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult cardiothoracic patients in conjunction with dedicated RN and PA support staff.
