Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES

General neurology outpatient evaluation and management including: new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, diagnostic test interpretation, medication management, care coordination; Perform EEG interpretation, EMG, or Botox.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Neurology (ABPN or AOBNP)
Licenses: Active NJ License (or ability to obtain)
DEA: Active DEA and NJ CDS
Certifications: BLS
Skill: Perform EEG interpretation, EMG, or Botox
Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Cerner/Oracle Fusion), willingness to rotate among three locations, ability to work independently, team collaboration

Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluate & manage new and established adult and geriatric general-neurology patients.
Manage common neurological conditions including headache, migraine, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up.
Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and outside medical records; order appropriate testing and manage medications.
Coordinate care with primary care providers, APPs, specialists, and other members of the neuroscience team.
Complete documentation, patient messages, test-result review, and follow-up responsibilities promptly; provide independent outpatient coverage across multiple practice locations.
