What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, adapting behaviors to meet diverse patient needs.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records accurately.
- Manage and delegate nursing team resources efficiently, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medication, and discharge planning.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and healthcare regulations.
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- NIH certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience with EPIC documentation skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills
