What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs and respond to changes
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and interventions per protocol and physician orders
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Support patients through labor and delivery, ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certifications
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license or be eligible for licensure
- 4+ years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- EPIC electronic health record experience
Preferred:
- Charge nurse experience
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:2
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
