SICU Registered Nurse – New Orleans, LA | 12-Hour Day Shifts

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-acuity care for ICU patients including post-op cardiac, transplant, and surgical recovery patients
- Monitor and manage patients requiring PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other advanced devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Track and respond to patient vital signs and clinical changes promptly
- Support ICU team during emergency events and float to other ICUs and SDUs as needed
- Document patient care accurately in Epic system
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana or state-specific RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, specific to SICU or CVICU
- Experience with post-op CABG, valve repair, aortic dissection, IABP, PA catheter management, and transplant recovery
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy
- Flexibility to float across ICUs and SDUs
