What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a busy Level 4 trauma ER
- Collaborate with a team of 2 RNs and 1 LVN per shift
- Assist in trauma assessments and stabilization of critically injured patients
- Document patient care interactions accurately using Cerner EMR
- Participate in rotation of weekends, holidays, and varied shift hours
- Support trauma team in handling incoming emergencies and special cases
- Maintain compliance with all facility protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- Active Texas or Multistate RN license
- At least 1 year of ER nursing experience
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (current)
- Ability to work night shifts and rotate weekends/holidays
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a busy ER setting with trauma patient care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environment
