Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Post-Surgical/Inpatient) – Manhattan, KS

  • Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

  • Hours/Week: 36 GHS

  • Employment: W-2, Contract

  • Licenses/Certifications: KS or Multistate RN license, AHA BLS and ACLS required

  • Experience: Previous experience in surgical/inpatient nursing preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage patients recovering from surgical procedures across various specialties

  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient progress regularly

  • Administer medications and interventions as ordered

  • Watch for and respond to post-operative complications

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care plans

  • Document patient status and interventions accurately

  • Provide education to patients and families regarding post-op care


What You Need:

  • Valid Kansas RN license or multistate license

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Proven experience in surgical or inpatient nursing preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to handle high-acuity situations with professionalism
