Pathologist Surveyor Job | The Joint Commission

Permanent employed position starting Fall 2026, both full and part-time candidates accepted. Both full and part time employees receive full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO and retirement).

Details/Requirements:
--100% nationwide travel, work hours are Monday-Friday ~8:30am-5pm (travel is reimbursed/covered up front - travel days are Monday/Friday, always home on weekends)
--30 day onboarding plus 8 weeks of training (2 weeks of virtual classes followed by 6 weeks of hands-on training)
--Schedule and Compensation (plus full benefits for full and part time):
* 2 weeks per month (.48 FTE - $83k salary)
* 3 weeks per month (.7 FTE - $120k salary) or
* 4 week per month (1FTE - $174k salary) 
* Must be a board certified Pathologist with an active license in any state and reside in the lower 48 states
* Must have five years of experience working in various components of a hospital and health care system, including three years direct clinical experience and two years management experience is essential.
* Must be able to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, work in settings with infectious diseases, and travel nationwide 100% of work time.
* This highly visible and challenging role requires strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, expertise in interviewing and laptop/tablet proficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience in a culturally diverse work environment.
