What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process within legal and ethical standards.
- Assess patient needs and implement care plans, including teaching and education for patients and families.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Utilize data and clinical knowledge to evaluate and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills.
- Adapt care delivery to diverse patient populations, respecting privacy and preferences.
- Document accurately and manage multiple patient care responsibilities efficiently.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with computer applications and strong communication skills
Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
