Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Id: A-MD-70037 • Profession: Physician • Specialty: Interventional Cardiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Jackson, MI • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: Jan 04, 2027 – Ongoing • Shift Schedule: Varies - Clinic 8a-4:30p - Cath lab 7:30a-5p • Call Schedule: - Nights: 7p-7a - Weekends: 7a-7a • Call Type: Beeper • Call Ratio: 1:6 • Reason for Coverage: Vacancy (Physician Departure) • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults (age 18+) • Average Daily Volume: Cath lab 4–6 procedures; Clinic 18–20 patients • Rounding: Not Included • Case Mix: Interventional Cardiology – catheterization, PCI, atherectomy, valvuloplasty, mechanical circulatory support, etc. FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Level II • EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography • Balloon angioplasty • Treatment of pulmonary embolisms • PCI with IVUS • Stent implantation • Atherectomy • Valvuloplasty • Left main PCI • Bifurcation stenting • Mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ECMO) JOB REQUIREMENTS • Board: Board Certified in Cardiology (or truly board certified) • Licenses: Active Michigan License or IMLC (Universal License) • DEA: DEA certification required • Certifications: BLS, ACLS • Experience: 1–5 years of experience required • Other Qualifications: Interventional Cardiology fellowship required; EPIC proficiency Duties & Responsibilities • Provide clinical coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinic and cath lab. • Perform interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, PCI, stent implantation, atherectomy, valvuloplasty, and mechanical circulatory support. • Participate in weekday night call (7pm-7am) and weekend call (7am-7am) as assigned. • Support APP training and supervision within interventional cardiology. • Collaborate with the non-invasive cardiology team and other specialists. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
