Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Louisiana) | 12H Days Shift | Bossier City

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med-Surg/Telemetry and transplant units
- Monitor and assess patient status, including Chest tube management and cardiac drips with no titration
- Support patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and post-transplant recovery
- Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and other procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalist physicians
- Use Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including passing an EKG competency exam before starting
What You Need
- Valid Louisiana RN license or Compact License
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (2 years for first-time travelers)
- Ability to pass EKG competency exam
- Strong clinical skills in Med-Surg and Telemetry patient management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
