Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for an engaging 182-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on advanced gastrointestinal procedures including upper GI endoscopies, ERCPs, and PEG insertions, contributing to a comprehensive patient care environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
  • Execute Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
  • Conduct Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
  • Perform Upper GI endoscopy with injection of varices
  • Conduct ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), both diagnostic and therapeutic
  • Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
