What You’ll Do

  • Provide postpartum and couplet care to new mothers and infants in a high-acuity setting

  • Administer IV starts, medications, and monitor patient conditions using L&D and postpartum skills

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Document patient care processes in EPIC EHR system

  • Educate new mothers on postpartum recovery and infant care

  • Float to similar acuity units as needed, maintaining quality care standards

  • Support safe patient transitions from hospital to home



What You Need

  • Required:

    • Valid Ohio RN license

    • BLS and IV certification

    • Minimum 2 years postpartum care experience

    • Ability to start IVs, perform postpartum assessments, and support labor & delivery care



  • Preferred:

    • Previous travel nursing experience
