Registered Nurse - SICU/ICU | Bossier City, LA

Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the SICU/ICU setting
- Monitor and manage ventilators, assist with intubation/extubation, and perform CVL management
- Administer medications, blood products, and support hemodynamic stability
- Respond to patient changing conditions with quick, effective interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalist, RT, PT, and OT
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Support unit operations as needed, including patient assessments and emergency response
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for multi-state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, including ICU or stepdown
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with ventilator management, stroke care, and complex medical-surgical patients
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to float to MedSurg units if needed
