PCU Float Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH | Day Shift | 36 hrs/week

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality patient care within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

  • Float to other OSU-affiliated hospitals as needed, approximately a 5-6 minute walk

  • Perform IV starts, telemonitoring, and advanced cardiac care (EPIC experience required)

  • Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

  • Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols


What You Need

Required:


  • Ohio RN license

  • BLS, ACLS, NIH Skills Certifications

  • At least 1 year of RN experience in a similar setting

  • Strong IV and telehealth skills



Preferred:


  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

  • Previous float pool experience

  • Ability to work shifts on weekends as needed
