What You’ll Do
- Deliver direct patient care within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patient recovery following procedures, including procedural sedation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care
- Manage patient assessments and vital signs during recovery
- Document care and communicate patient status to physicians and team
- Assist with patient admissions, recovery, and discharge processes
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need
Required
- Valid New York RN license
- EPIC electronic health record experience
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU or critical care experience
- Procedural sedation experience
- Ability to work days and holidays as needed
Preferred
- Experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
