What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement speech and language therapy treatment plans for residents
- Address swallowing, communication, and cognitive challenges to improve quality of life
- Lead therapy sessions to support residents’ communication goals
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate resident care plans
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies
What You Need
- Required: Texas State Licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists and Certification (if applicable)
- Preferred: Prior experience working in long-term care or similar settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
