What You’ll Do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in long-term care settings under supervision
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ motor skills, coordination, and independence
- Document patient progress accurately and report to supervising physical therapists
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, massage, gait, and balance training
- Promote patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
