We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a 120-day assignment in Maryland. Our client requires coverage for 8-hour shifts, focusing on medical optometry cases, including preliminary evaluations for surgical procedures, glaucoma and cataract management, post-operative assessments, dry eye treatment, follow-ups, and medication prescriptions. This role does not involve optical duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform preliminary evaluations to confirm patient suitability for surgical procedures.
• Manage glaucoma cases.
• Manage cataracts.
• Conduct post-operative evaluations.
• Treat dry eye conditions.
• Provide follow-up care.
• Prescribe necessary medications.
• Sign off on refractions completed by technicians.
