What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

  • Monitor and record vital signs, patient assessments, and treatment responses

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records

  • Respond to urgent patient needs during night shifts


What You Need

Required:


  • Valid RN license in Ohio or state of residence

  • BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers considered; profiles reviewed by manager)



Preferred:


  • Ability to float within OSU units if needed

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


About the Assignment

This assignment is at a leading medical center in Columbus, Ohio, providing care in a dedicated PCU. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork, ensuring a supportive environment for travel nurses. Night shifts are scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, for a total of 36 hours weekly.
