We are seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant for a 23-day assignment starting Oct 28, 2026, in Wisconsin. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical coverage for an inpatient behavioral health census, managing psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations during 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM day shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive clinical coverage for an assigned inpatient behavioral health census.
• Manage approximately 8–12 patient encounters on a typical full-census day, including psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations.
• Complete all required documentation and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Adhere to the principle that patient safety and quality of care take precedence over encounter volume.
• Manage an expected daily census of approximately 10–15 patients, adjusted based on patient acuity, admissions, discharges, staffing, and other clinical responsibilities.
