What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized ICU patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
- Monitor and respond to patient needs, ensuring safety and well-being
- Administer medications and treatments such as TPN, wound care, drains, Foley, and narco administration
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records (Epic experience preferred)
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Support emergency team initiatives as needed during special events
What You Need
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year RN hospital/clinical experience
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5/6 in ICU settings
- Strong skills in special procedures such as TPN, wound care, drains
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
Preferred:
- Epic electronic health record experience
- LTAC experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to be part of emergency response teams if necessary
